April 13, 2010

Hey Gang,

We have a cool weekly feature here on DPE: Tuesday’s Talented Twitter Find.

Each Tuesday I choose a photographer who I find on Twitter  who is . . . well, talented!

I find ‘em by reading an interesting tweet and then by clicking on his or her web site.

This week’s Talented Twitter Find is Marty Cohen

Tell me you don’t love this image! What a wonderful feeling.

See more of Marty’s work on his site.

Hey, you could be next! Keep posting cool stuff on Twitter!

Thanks Rick. I’m honored to be this Tuesday’s Talented Twitter Find. It’s great to have the opportunity to share my photography and my appreciation of the world that surrounds us. How fun it is to “Explore The Light.”

This photo has an interesting story as I took it with a Canon 70 -200mm lens I had just dropped and had it break into two sections BEFORE I took the photo. I held the sections of the lens together to get the shot. To read the story of how this happened and the incredible good fortune I had after that, check out my blog at http://mscgallery.com/blog/?p=267 .

Awesome shot and even more incredible story of the shot and trip! Gotta love the durability of the gear and ingenuity of the artist!

Thanks for always sharing with us. You rock!
