    You brought out the old “get it right in camera” meme. That sounds like a no brainer and it is. The better you get it in camera, the better the final result.
    But I feel a lot of “Old Film Guys” use that term to dismiss those of us who never shot film. I shoot dirt track race cars at night with a bunch of guys who have been doing it for 30 years and some of them moan about getting it right in camera. I think many of them say that because they are afraid of post processing (I also shoot with old timers who have completely embraced post processing and are putting out wonderful images). I was surprised to hear Rick talk about people these days who don’t care about getting it right in camera because they can fix it in post.
    If you could get it right in camera, there would be no point in post processing.
