As some of you may know, I just completed my 2010 “Winter in Yellowstone” Instructional Photo Workshop. I have to say that I had an amazing group of workshop participants, everyone was so excited to be in Yellowstone and their enthusiasm was definitely contagious.
All had the opportunity to make some amazing and dare I say a few “one in a lifetime” images. I am sure this is not a trip any of them will easily forget.
I hope to post some images from the participants soon, in the meantime, I wanted to share with you some my favorite images I was able to make myself.
Hope you enjoy them!

I still have room in my “Spring in Yellowstone” Instructional Photo Workshop, taking place in June 2010, if you’d like to find out more information about that trip, want to sign up, go to http://wildnaturetours.com.

Great shots Juan, especially the raven. I know how difficult it is to get detail in the black feathers. I guess having a dark background is the trick? I’ll have to try it this weekend.

Soren,
Yes a dark background helps, but also a bit of fill flash helps tremendously.

Ahhh, I always forget about fill flash when shooting outdoors. Thanks for the tip!
